About Libby Bracy Doss
Libby Bracy Doss received her BA in fine art from Malone University in 2009, with a double emphasis in Painting and Fibers; earning the Outstanding Senior Award, the Mary Ellen McFadden Art Award, and a scholarship from the Ohio Arts and Crafts Guild. Doss is completing her thesis for her M.A. in Arts Administration at the University of Akron and currently works at The Frick Pittsburgh.
Doss works primarily in fibers, painting, and mixed media. Doss has exhibited work at Malone University, Cyrus Custom Framing and Art Gallery, the Massillon Museum, and Translations Art Gallery..
Her work experience includes the Ananda Center, Emily Davis Gallery, and Massillon Museum. Doss has experience teaching K-12 Visual Art at a private school, pre-K art in the Canton City School School district, and has taught a variety of fibers, painting, and mixed media workshops for both adults and for children. Doss has worked commercially as a visual designer for a large chain of furniture stores, and most recently began collaborating with Scott Martin Construction LLC. Doss also works with interior design clients on an individual basis.
In her spare time, Doss likes to make things beautiful, dabbling in everything from calligraphy to flower-arranging.
